About Nexpill
Nexpill is an offline medication scheduler for caregivers tracking doses for one or more people. It shows each medicine’s status, such as when a dose is due, overdue, or next allowed, and sorts the list so the next action appears first. It calculates intervals across midnight and clock changes and asks for confirmation when a dose is logged earlier than scheduled. Schedules can repeat at fixed hour intervals, including unusual intervals, occur at set times of day, be taken as needed with a minimum gap, or taper with intervals that change by date. Exact alarms are scheduled on the phone and can arrive without a signal or in airplane mode, including after a restart. A dose can be marked taken or snoozed from its notification; reminders for critical doses can ring like an alarm until acknowledged. The record can be corrected while preserving the original entry, include who administered a dose, and track remaining quantity. History can be exported as a spreadsheet or a plain summary for a doctor. Data remains on the device, with no account, server, sync, internet permission, analytics, ads, or tracking; backups are saved to a location the user chooses. Nexpill tracks dose timing but does not provide medical advice, recommend doses, or check drug interactions. It is intended as a record and reminder tool for caregivers, not a substitute for clinical guidance.
