About Nextcloud Notes
Nextcloud Notes is an Android client for viewing and editing notes stored with Nextcloud Notes. It can list, create, edit, share, search, and delete notes. Users can also send text or links from other apps into a new note, search within an individual note, mark notes as favorites, and delete multiple notes at once. Checkboxes can be toggled while viewing a note, and Markdown formatting can be rendered. The app includes context-based formatting, dark mode, and an app-lock feature. Home-screen widgets can show a single note or a list of notes. These features make it possible to capture and review notes both inside the app and through the device’s home screen. This client requires a Nextcloud server with the Notes server app installed, plus the Nextcloud Files app on Android. It is designed to work with that existing service, rather than storing an independent collection of notes.
