About OpenBooksDownloader

OpenBooksDownloader is an Android app for finding and downloading open-published books. Users can save books to the device and organize them with personal tags, including placing multiple books under the same tag. This provides a simple way to group downloads by subject or another preference. Downloaded books are saved in the device’s Downloads directory, where they remain accessible outside the app. Users can also open a book from within the app using their preferred PDF reader. This gives a choice between browsing the collection through the downloader and using a separate reading app. OpenBooksDownloader focuses on discovering open-published titles, storing local copies, and organizing them for later access. It is intended for readers who want to keep downloaded books on their phone and group them with tags. An online catalog is used to locate available titles, while downloaded files are stored locally.
