osm2gmaps converts places and coordinates between many formats and map services. It can accept coordinates, grid references, plus codes, geohashes, Maidenhead locators, map links, photos, or addresses. Supported coordinate systems include decimal degrees, degrees-minutes-seconds, UTM, MGRS, and regional national grids. It can read several notations, including GeoJSON and WKT, and can offer alternate interpretations when a code could represent more than one location. Users can paste or share text or photos, select text in another app, search an address, or use their current position. A place can be opened in a selected map app, sent as a link for many map services, or shared as a QR code. The app can also correct offsets in Chinese coordinate systems. History, favorites, and GPX, KML, or JSON export support keeping and reusing locations. osm2gmaps converts coordinates on the device and does not require an account or ads, according to its description. It does not contact proprietary map services, apart from an optional word-based location service that requires the user’s own key. Link resolution can be routed through an optional open-source resolver that can be self-hosted.
