About OSMfocus Reborn
OSMfocus Reborn is a map tool for inspecting OpenStreetMap features such as roads and buildings. Users move a crosshair over a map element to display its tags, the key-value details that describe that feature in OpenStreetMap. A line connects the selected element to a detail box, and tapping a box opens more information. The app can help users investigate an area or look for possible map-data issues. The background map can be changed, and users can add their own map source in settings. An optional precise-location permission can move the map to the device’s current location; network access is used to display map tiles and retrieve OpenStreetMap data. OSMfocus Reborn is an inspection tool for map data, not a route planner. Its main workflow is to move around the map, select an element with the crosshair, and review the tags associated with it. The map data is provided under the Open Database License.
