About OSS-Dict
OSS-Dict is an offline dictionary reader for searching and viewing local dictionary files. Searches ignore punctuation, diacritics, and letter case, and the app provides bookmarks and history for revisiting useful entries. Users can import multiple dictionaries, enable or disable them, and organize which collections are available. Articles can be styled with custom CSS, and mathematical formulas are rendered for reading on different screens. Additional features include random-article discovery, volume-button navigation, full-screen reading, clipboard auto-paste, and sharing external links. Core dictionary lookup works without an internet connection, as the dictionaries remain on the device. The app requests network access for its built-in renderer and to open external links, not for offline lookups. OSS-Dict is suited to readers who want fast access to imported reference material and control over how dictionary articles are displayed.
