About PAIesque

PAIesque is a fitness tracker for recording heart rate and GPS activity and sharing live status with a group. It can read directly from Bluetooth heart-rate sensors, record from several sensors at once, and save sessions as GPX or CSV. Training can be reviewed on an interactive map and zoomable chart, with routes colored by heart-rate zone. Live metrics are available during a recording, and past sessions can be filtered by date. The app calculates training-load and recovery measures from published formulas, including several TRIMP methods, rolling load, resting heart rate, and HRV. It labels the evidence basis for formulas and includes zone distribution and an activity score inspired by PAI, while noting that this is not the official proprietary algorithm. Data stays on the device unless the user configures a self-hosted sharing server. Group status and completed sessions can be shared with end-to-end encryption. The app can also act as a GPS location sharer without a heart-rate sensor. Sensor data can be imported through Android Health Connect when a wearable requires a companion app. The features support personal training review; calculated associations and scores are not clinical assessments.
