About Piggsy
Piggsy is an Android app for tracking savings goals with virtual piggy banks. Users can create several banks for different purposes, such as a trip, a purchase, or an emergency fund. Each goal can have its own currency, optional deadline, and short description, allowing the app to organize multiple savings plans separately. Money can be added or subtracted as plans change, and transactions are recorded with optional notes. The app is not tied to a bank balance, so it acts as a visual record of how much a user has allocated toward each goal rather than moving money between accounts. Automatic backups preserve the data behind the scenes. Piggsy is intended for people who want a simple view of progress toward financial goals without linking the app to actual accounts. Its separate goal containers, transaction history, notes, and optional deadlines support tracking plans while leaving the underlying money management to the user.
