About Plutus - Investment Tracker
Plutus is an offline tracker for recording money placed into investments. It is designed to show how much a person has invested over time and where the money went, rather than track the daily market value or manage ordinary household spending. Users can list investments such as stocks, funds, bonds, savings, fixed deposits, or physical gold and organize them into investment categories. For each investment, users can record the service or application through which it was made. The app then totals contributions by category and displays a graph showing the percentage invested in different areas. A fingerprint lock can protect access to the records, and a home-screen widget can display the total invested amount. The widget is optional because the total may be sensitive to show on a home screen. Investment data can be exported as an Excel file for sharing or backup. Plutus does not use an internet connection, and records stay on the device unless the user chooses to export them. It is a personal ledger of contributions, not a portfolio valuation tool, budget manager, or source of investment recommendations.
