About PocketCheck

PocketCheck is a reminder app for keeping track of things to take, return, or finish. Users can register an item or task with a name and notes, or capture a photo for quick entry. A toggle tracks whether it is active, and items can be reordered, archived, or deleted. Active tasks remain visible in a persistent notification, so they are accessible without reopening the app. The app periodically asks whether there is anything to remember, with configurable intervals and quiet hours. Notifications stay consolidated rather than accumulating, and users can respond to open the app or dismiss the reminder. PocketCheck works offline, stores data on the device, and does not require an account or Google services. Its repeated prompts are designed to externalize working memory so users do not have to remember to check the checklist themselves.
