About ProcrastiLearn
ProcrastiLearn is an Android app that places a flashcard review before opening apps the user chooses to block. When a gated app is launched, a full-screen card appears; after revealing the translation and rating recall as Again, Hard, Good, or Easy, the selected app opens. A spaced-repetition algorithm schedules future reviews, and daily caps can limit how many cards appear. Users can add vocabulary manually, import Anki decks, or select text in another app and add it through the Android selection menu. An optional translation feature can draft a card using an online provider and the user’s API key. The card-review and app-blocking features work locally. An optional repeating reminder can show another card while the user remains in a gated app. ProcrastiLearn requires accessibility access to detect which app is open and permission to display the flashcard overlay. Its accessibility service does not read screen content or keystrokes. Vocabulary, app selections, and review history stay on the device; the only described outbound data is an optional translation request initiated by the user.
