About Quest Log
Quest Log is an Android task organizer that frames responsibilities as “Main Quests” and enjoyable activities as “Side Quests.” It helps users keep both kinds of priorities visible and choose a few to focus on each day. Each quest can contain objectives, a record of progress, and a dated journal of completed work, giving tasks a history beyond a simple check mark. Quests can be sorted into user-created categories, and recurring quests can be marked as habits. These can be used to build a daily plan that balances ongoing responsibilities with personal interests. The app includes game-inspired themes and a range of appearance settings. Quest Log works offline and does not require an account or network connection. Quests are stored as plain Markdown files, which can be exported, backed up, and re-imported in a ZIP archive. This file-based approach keeps the user’s information portable. The app is described as young and changing quickly, with development continuing based on feedback.
