About QuickNotes
QuickNotes is a note-taking app for capturing, organizing, and reviewing ideas. Users can create, edit, and delete notes, then search across note titles, contents, and tags. Tags can be used as filters to narrow a collection to a particular topic or group of ideas. Reminders can be scheduled as notifications so a note can return to the user’s attention at a chosen time. Optional AI-assisted tagging can suggest tags automatically; users provide their own API key for that external service. Without enabling this feature, notes are stored on the device. QuickNotes is free and open source. Its core features focus on quick note entry, search, filtering, and reminders, with AI-assisted organization available as an optional connected feature controlled by the user’s API key.
