About Remember: Notes & Reminders
Remember is an Android notes and reminders app designed to keep unfinished tasks visible. Reminder notifications can return after being dismissed until the note is marked done. Users can choose standard reminders, high-priority heads-up alerts, recurring alarm-style alerts, or a quiet summary of overdue and upcoming items. Reminders can be scheduled using named times, durations, exact dates, or recurring patterns from hourly to yearly. Notes support Markdown formatting and nested checklists. Notification actions can call, message, email, open directions, launch a link or app, copy text, or share content. Organization tools include tags, stars, archive, trash, search, filters, sorting, and bulk actions. Home-screen widgets show upcoming reminders, selected notes, and quick capture; a persistent notification or Quick Settings tile can provide fast note entry. The app can import tasks from other task services, export notes and settings with optional media, and restore or merge backups. Custom themes, fonts, colors, OLED black mode, and cover images support personalization. Notes are stored locally, with no tracking, analytics, or background telemetry; data leaves the phone only when the user explicitly exports it or uses an optional update check. Remember brings recurring reminders and flexible notes together in one personal organizer.
