About Restoid
Restoid is a root-based Android backup tool for saving and restoring apps and selected files. Users choose which installed apps to back up and can select components such as the APK, user data, device-protected data, external or OBB files, and media. Root access is required to read or write private app data. Custom folders such as photos and documents can also be backed up without root. Backups use restic repositories and support deduplicated, encrypted snapshots. Repositories can be local or hosted through supported S3-compatible, REST, or SFTP backends. Users can browse snapshot history, inspect what was saved, and remove older snapshots to reclaim space.
