About Retherm
Retherm is a reference calculator for converting temperature sensor measurements into temperatures. For resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), it converts resistance values from Pt100, Pt500, and Pt1000 sensors to Celsius or Fahrenheit. It uses the European/DIN equations over a stated range of −200°C to +850°C, with an average error of about 0.02°C. An alternative American standard is available for 0°C to 100°C, with an average error of about 0.2°C. The app also converts thermocouple voltages using a reference junction temperature of 0°C. Supported thermocouple types are B, E, J, K, N, R, S, and T, and the result can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Retherm includes links to reference information about RTD sensors. The app is intended for quick reference calculations. Its description warns that calculation errors may occur, so results should be checked when measurement accuracy is important.
