About Schussel
Schussel creates checklists that are triggered when a phone connects to selected Bluetooth devices, such as a car. Users make one or more lists, choose which paired device should trigger each one, and tick off items as they are completed. When the phone connects, the app stays quiet if everything is checked; if anything remains unchecked, it sends a reminder naming the missed item. An optional alarm can repeat until dismissed. Each list can have its own optional daily reset time, which automatically clears its checked items. Lists without a reset time keep their current state. The app works when closed and shows a countdown to the next reset for lists that use one. Schussel requires Android 10 or later and a Bluetooth-enabled phone paired with the device used as a trigger. The app stores data on the device and has no network access, accounts, or analytics. Background reliability can vary because some manufacturers’ battery optimizers delay or drop Bluetooth connection events.
