Scrum Chatter

Scrum Chatter records how much time meeting participants spend speaking.

About Scrum Chatter

Scrum Chatter records how much time meeting participants spend speaking. During a meeting, the user presses a play button when a team member begins speaking; the app does not detect speech automatically and does not use the microphone for that purpose. This manual approach lets the person recording the meeting assign speaking time to each member as the discussion progresses. After meetings are recorded, the app can show each member’s average and total speaking time across the stored meetings. Statistics can be shared for an individual meeting or across all meetings, and data can be exported to Excel for further charting and analysis. The database can also be exported and imported. These features make Scrum Chatter useful for teams that want a quantitative summary of speaking time and are willing to track turns manually. The supplied description does not claim transcription, audio recording, or automatic participation analysis.
