About Simple Notes Sync
Simple Notes Sync is an Android app for offline notes and checklists with optional synchronization to a WebDAV server the user controls. Notes can be organized in colored folders, pinned, and viewed in a list or grid. Checklists support tap-to-check and drag-and-drop reordering, and items can be sorted by title, date, or type. Synchronization can be configured to run on save, app open, Wi-Fi, a schedule, or device startup. The app supports Wi-Fi-only sync, VPN connections, parallel transfers, self-signed certificates, progress display, conflict handling, and detection of server-side deletions. Notes can be imported or exported as Markdown, shared as text or PDF, or exported to a calendar. Encrypted local backups can be restored later. The app includes widgets for quick note entry and interactive checklists, seven color schemes including AMOLED black and dynamic color, and light and dark modes. It works offline, has no account, ads, or tracking, and connects only to the configured server. The app also supports importing notes from common note-taking backups, without requiring the original app to remain installed.
