About Since Us
Since Us is an Android app for keeping track of time shared with a partner or partners. It displays days, weeks, months, and hours since a chosen date, with an optional live counter that updates every second. Users can add important moments, such as a first date or trip, with a note and photo, and can set optional annual reminders for them. The app can remind users about anniversaries, birthdays, and milestone day counts at a chosen time. Home-screen widgets include a photo card or compact counter, and a slideshow can display selected pictures. Several fonts are available. The app supports multiple relationships through a poly mode, includes pronoun options, and offers a discreet display using initials. Since Us is described as fully local: it has no account, server, internet access, ads, or tracking. Two phones can synchronize through a one-time QR pairing and exchange an encrypted file that only those devices can open. Users can protect the app with a fingerprint lock and save a backup file for moving data to a new phone. The app is free and open source, with English and German interfaces. It is intended as a private relationship diary and date counter, with local reminders and shared data transfer that does not rely on cloud synchronization.
