About Spartathlon
Spartathlon is an event companion app for athletes, supporters, and volunteers following the Spartathlon foot race. It provides race reports, a schedule with a quick way to find the next event, and a list of checkpoints. Users can view directions to checkpoints and filter them by whether supporters are allowed or live results are available. The app can search the athletes competing in the current edition and display selected favorites on a dashboard. A dark theme is included for viewing the app in low-light situations. These tools bring event timing, participant lookup, and checkpoint logistics together for people following the race. The app’s description states that it is not officially endorsed by the race association. It presents information and navigation aids, but does not itself provide race results beyond indicating which checkpoints have live results available.
