About Stanza: Pomodoro Timer
Stanza is a Pomodoro and interval timer organized around focus periods called stanzas. A cycle can combine several focus sessions with short breaks between them and a longer break at the end. Users can adjust the durations of focus, short-break, and long-break periods to match their working rhythm. The countdown appears in notifications and on the lock screen, and the app uses exact alarms so sessions can end on time while Android’s Doze power-saving mode is active. Timer state is retained across reboots and when the app is closed. Tasks can be associated with estimated and completed stanzas, making it possible to track how much focused time a task has received. Statistics include daily and weekly totals, streaks, and a year-long heatmap. Several timer layouts and color themes are available, with a Quick Settings tile and home-screen widget for starting a session. A reduce-transparency option replaces blurred surfaces with solid ones. Stanza requires no account or internet connection and contains no tracking or ads. It is intended for people who want structured work and rest cycles with visible progress and a reliable countdown that continues when the app is not open.
