About Stutter
Stutter is a speed-reading app that presents one word at a time in a fixed position on the screen. Users can paste text, share it from another app, or provide a public article address for text extraction. Reading speed and timing can be adjusted, including extra delays for long words, punctuation, numbers, or short words, so the sequence can be tuned to a comfortable rhythm. The app supports language-aware tokenization and hyphenation in 18 languages. Fonts, size, spacing, and colors can be customized, and optional flankers show a fragment of the next word. Stutter has no reading history, analytics, tracking, or data collection. Its single-word presentation is intended to keep reading pace steady while minimizing eye movement.
