About Sumatora
Sumatora is an offline Japanese dictionary with fast lookup for exact matches, terms beginning with the search text, and terms containing it. It supports multilingual search from English, German, Russian, Spanish, Dutch, Hungarian, Swedish, Slovenian, and French, making it useful for learners who approach Japanese through different source languages. Words can be bookmarked, and bookmark collections can be imported or exported. Text selected in another app can be sent to Sumatora through the share sheet or a contextual action for lookup. This connects dictionary search with reading on the phone, while offline operation keeps the core lookup workflow available without a network connection.
