About Suntimes Calendars

Suntimes Calendars is an add-on that creates calendar events for solar and lunar phenomena. It can add dates for solstices, equinoxes, civil, nautical, and astronomical twilight, sunrise and sunset, moonrise and moonset, major lunar phases, apogee, and perigee. Events can be added to calendars on the device or saved in the standard .ics calendar format for use elsewhere. The add-on reads calculations from the main Suntimes app and needs calendar access to create calendars and populate them with events. It is intended for users who want solar and lunar events alongside ordinary appointments, rather than a separate astronomy calendar they must check manually. Suntimes Calendars depends on the main Suntimes application and does not calculate the events independently. The supplied evidence does not specify whether generated events update automatically when calculations change or how far into the future they are created.
