About Teapod
Teapod is an unofficial Android client for watching anime from Crunchyroll. Users sign in with an account, browse available series, and play videos in a native player. The app can prefer subtitled versions through a setting, and supports picture-in-picture playback so a video can remain visible while using another app. Teapod can skip opening and ending sequences when timing metadata is available for a show. Coverage depends on whether metadata exists for that series. The app provides a mobile viewing interface for an existing account and service, rather than hosting video content itself. Its playback options support viewing while browsing or using another app. The available metadata can also identify opening and ending segments for supported shows.
