About Termux:GUI
Termux:GUI lets command-line programs create native Android user interfaces without using VNC or an X11 server. A program can display content in its own task and back stack, open custom dialogs, receive interface events, and update the screen while it runs. It can also create home-screen widgets, show content in picture-in-picture, or draw directly to a screen buffer. The plugin is designed for programs running in Termux and requires familiarity with Android’s interface model. It uses native Android components, so standard X11 desktop applications are not supported through this approach. Language bindings are available for several programming environments, and the communication protocol is documented for other implementations. Termux:GUI is intended for developers who want command-line programs to interact with Android’s native interface. It provides UI primitives rather than a full desktop windowing system.
