About Termux
Termux is an Android terminal emulator with a package collection for running command-line tools. It provides shell environments such as Bash and Zsh, and users can edit files, connect to servers over SSH, compile code, run Python, use version-control tools, or play text-based games. A small base system is installed on first launch, with additional packages installed through its package manager. The app is intended to provide a command-line workspace on a phone, rather than a graphical desktop environment. Users can build up the tools they need by installing packages, and built-in help is available from the terminal. Its package collection supports development, administration, scripting, and other terminal-based tasks.
