About Thirukkural Daily Widget
Thirukkural Daily Widget presents one Thirukkural verse as a daily flashcard. It cycles through all 1,330 Kurals, showing one verse each day with Tamil typography and explanations. The content is available in Tamil and English, and the widget can show different commentaries. This provides a small daily reading without requiring an internet connection. The widget can be resized to fit different home-screen layouts and customized with monochromatic themes and typography scaling. The app is described as open source, with no advertisements or trackers, and as fully offline. Its purpose is focused on presenting a verse and its explanation in a clear daily format rather than providing a broader search or study interface. The widget can remain visible on the home screen as a regular prompt to read a Kural.
