About Tiddloid
Tiddloid is an Android app for creating and editing locally stored TiddlyWiki files. Users can create a new wiki from a template, import an existing wiki from writable storage, or add a folder containing a wiki’s HTML file. Ideas can be written as individual tiddlers and saved back into the wiki. The app also accepts a wiki site shared from a browser, which can be saved as a file or bookmark. Tiddloid provides tools for managing a collection of wikis: users can create shortcuts, clone or delete wikis, and import or export the wiki list. A save-and-find option helps locate content, and selected text can be turned into a draft. A backup system preserves earlier versions to help recover from accidental changes. The interface can apply theme colors using settings from the wiki. Tiddloid works with local wiki files and writable storage. Users can move or synchronize those files through their own method to access them on other devices. The app is intended for people who use TiddlyWiki as a personal knowledge base and want to capture notes directly on Android, while keeping file handling and backup available within the app.
