About time-tracking

time-tracking is an Android app for recording working hours and reviewing time spent. Users can manually add, edit, or remove entries and attach custom notes. Day, week, and month views provide different ways to review the log, and the app calculates the duration of each entry automatically. For quick check-ins, a user can scan an NFC tag to toggle their work status. App-icon shortcuts can also start or stop tracking, and can be placed on the home screen for one-tap access. This makes the app usable both through manual time entry and through quick actions when beginning or ending work. Records are stored locally on the device in an offline database, with no server upload. Work history can be exported to CSV and restored or imported from CSV. The app supports English and German and follows system light or dark appearance, including Material You dynamic colors. It provides a local work-time log with flexible entry editing, duration summaries, and convenient check-in methods.
