toodoo is a local task manager for creating, categorizing, filtering, and sorting tasks. Each task has a name, category, priority, and open or done status, and can include a description and due date or time. To prevent accidental loss, a task can be deleted only after it is marked done. Categories can be created, renamed, or removed when unused. Task lists can be filtered by status, due date, priority, and category, including combinations of several filters. Date shortcuts include today, current week, overdue, or tasks without dates. Sorting can use any order of status, due date, priority, category, and name. Search can match task names, descriptions, or both, with case-sensitive search and highlighted matches. Shortcuts make it easy to change a task’s completion state or set its due date to today or tomorrow. When viewing a day or week filter, swipes move to adjacent dates or weeks; category views can also move between categories. Different background colors distinguish overdue, current, and future tasks. All tasks, categories, filters, and sort settings can be exported to or imported from XML. Data stays on the device, and the app needs no internet connection. toodoo is deliberately minimal and its interface is English-only.
