About Total Recall
Total Recall is an Android photo journal for saving memories with images, text, and optional location information. Users can capture a photo, add a description or notes, and attach GPS coordinates when they choose to enable location tracking. Entries can then be searched by text or browsed chronologically. The app is designed to keep its journal on the device and does not require a cloud service. Its local storage and search make it possible to organize travel records, daily memories, or project notes without an online account. Location is optional, so an entry can consist of text and a photo without recording where it was made. Total Recall is open-source software with no analytics, tracking, or advertising according to its description. It is intended for people who want to capture a moment with a photo and supporting context, then find or revisit entries through chronological browsing or full-text search.
