About Trayzero

Trayzero is an on-device task manager organized around a five-step personal workflow: capture, clarify, organize, reflect, and engage. A floating capture button is available throughout the app, and users can send content from other apps into the inbox through sharing. Voice-to-text supports hands-free capture, and a home-screen widget provides another quick way to add an item. The Process Inbox view handles captured items one at a time. Each card guides the user through decisions such as whether the item is actionable, whether it can be completed quickly, whether it should be delegated, and whether it is a single action or a project. The app provides lists for next actions, projects, waiting items, someday or maybe items, calendar entries, and reference material. Projects have an intended outcome, a next-action warning, and statuses such as active, on hold, someday, done, or dropped. Contexts can be assigned to actions, and users can create additional contexts and areas of responsibility. A weekly-review wizard walks through clearing the inbox, reviewing actions and waiting items, checking the calendar and someday list, reviewing projects, and setting intentions for the next week. A daily review is also supported. The Engage view filters next actions by context, energy level, and available time. Reminders cover due dates, defer-until dates, waiting-for follow-up, and weekly reviews; notifications include actions such as done, snooze, and move to next actions. Reminders are described as surviving restarts and app updates. Optional two-way calendar sync can mirror dated items into the system calendar. Trayzero stores data locally, requires no account, and provides JSON backup and restore. Crash reporting is opt-in and off by default. Items can include photos or voice memos. Its interface offers light and dark themes, movable rows, text scaling, and TalkBack labels. It is designed for people who want a structured task workflow without cloud-based task storage.
