About Tumblr Downloader
Tumblr Downloader saves images and videos from Tumblr posts. A user can share a post link to the app, paste a link, or let it detect a Tumblr address copied to the clipboard. A built-in web view can sign in to access private or restricted posts, and its session cookies are retained between launches. Downloads are handled through a queue with pause, resume, and retry controls. The app keeps a persistent download history and includes a media viewer for images and videos. Users can choose a custom save directory through Android’s storage picker. Downloads pause automatically if network connectivity is lost, and content detection and filtering options are available for adult material. The interface uses Material Design 3, supports dark mode, and is available in English and Chinese. The app is intended for Android 11 and later. Its description states that sign-in credentials are stored locally using Android Keystore, and that known third-party tracking domains are blocked during web sign-in. It also states that the app contains no ads, analytics, or tracking. Tumblr Downloader focuses on turning post links into saved media while providing a queue and history for managing multiple downloads. Its built-in viewer and configurable storage location help users review and organize saved files without leaving the app.
