About Twire
Twire is an Android browser and stream player for Twitch. Users can browse live streams, choose themes, and sign in to follow or unfollow streamers. This brings channel discovery and stream viewing into a dedicated mobile client rather than requiring the service’s general-purpose app or a web browser. Chat is available when the user signs in, so account access is required for participating in stream conversations. The app is open-source and ad-free according to its description. Its core functions are browsing streams, playing them, and managing followed channels. Twire is intended for people who watch live streams and want to keep track of creators they follow. Theme options provide appearance customization, while sign-in unlocks channel-following and chat features. The product focuses on viewing and interacting with live content on Android.
