About Ubuntu Countdown Widget
Ubuntu Countdown Widget displays the number of days remaining before a chosen Ubuntu release date. It is a resizable square home-screen widget, and users can set a custom date if they want to count down to another milestone. The widget updates once per day, which is designed to limit battery use. Light and dark themes are available. Its role is a simple persistent countdown display rather than a release-notification or software-update tool. Ubuntu Countdown Widget is intended for users who want a reminder of an upcoming release or a different date they choose. The supplied description does not specify automatic date updates when a release schedule changes, so users can use the custom date setting to match the date they want to track.
