About Umpire Assistant
Umpire Assistant helps baseball, softball, and kickball officials keep track of pitch counts, score, and game state. It counts balls, strikes, fouls, and outs, and can advance automatically when a walk, strikeout, or inning change occurs. The score view shows home and away teams, the batting side, and the top or bottom half of the inning. A configurable game clock can alert when time expires. Officials can undo or redo accidental entries and assign volume buttons for pitch counting without looking at the screen. Multiple saved configurations support different rule sets, named teams, and team colors. Foul rules can be adjusted to match a league’s approach, and a larger button layout supports one-handed use. The final score can be shared through another app. Umpire Assistant works offline and is described as having no ads or tracking, making it a game-side recordkeeping tool rather than an online score service.
