About UnicodePad
UnicodePad is a character browser and input tool for Unicode text. It lets users find and enter characters beyond the standard alphabet and copy a resulting string to the clipboard. It can also pass text directly to an input method app that supports the Mushroom interface. When a character is selected, UnicodePad can show where it appears in the character list. A long press displays a larger view of the character and its code point, the numeric identifier assigned to that character in Unicode. Frequently used characters can be saved as favorites for easier access later. Whether a particular character appears correctly depends on the fonts available on the device. The supplied information suggests installing a font with the needed character coverage, such as a Noto font, and selecting it when special characters are not visible. UnicodePad’s main role is character lookup and text entry; it does not itself guarantee that every device font can display every character.
