About UPI Expense Tracker
UPI Expense Tracker records and organizes payments made through UPI. It can capture payment confirmations from UPI apps through an accessibility service and read incoming bank payment messages to obtain reference numbers and credits. Duplicate entries are removed using the bank reference number. Users can also add payments manually. The app organizes transactions into categories and shows daily, weekly, and monthly totals, recent activity, and a spending chart. A manual starting balance can be adjusted to track an estimated available balance. Monthly budgets are available, with progress shown in the app and home-screen widgets; other widgets can display spending and balance. The app also warns when automatic capture is paused so displayed totals are not mistaken for current data. The product states that data stays in a local database and that it has no internet permission. CSV export is local and initiated by the user. Automatic capture requires accessibility and SMS permissions; optional location can pin a payment on an insights map. Because the app reads payment screens and bank messages, users should review those permissions and confirm capture status before relying on totals.
