About Usagi

Usagi is an open-source manga reader for Android, with tools for finding, organizing, downloading, and reading manga. Users can search by name, genre, and other filters, then group favorites into their own categories. Reading history and bookmarks help track progress, and downloads allow chapters to be read offline. The reader supports standard and webtoon-oriented layouts, gestures, and customizable reading settings. It can also open third-party CBZ archives. The app includes notifications for new chapters, an updates feed, and filtered recommendations. Users can protect access with a password or fingerprint, and app data can sync across devices using an account. It also supports manga tracking services and external content extensions. Interface styles and backgrounds are customizable, and the app describes support for Android 5.0 and later, including optimization for lower-powered phones. Usagi combines a configurable reading experience with library organization and tools for keeping up with ongoing series.
