About USB Descriptor Explorer
USB Descriptor Explorer inspects USB devices connected to an Android device and presents their technical descriptors in a structured view. It can show vendor and product IDs, USB version and speed, device class, configurations, interfaces, endpoints, and power information. It can also list input devices such as keyboards and mice recognized by Android. When permission is granted for a device, the app can read string descriptors, parse the raw descriptor tree, query supported device status, and show HID report descriptors with a readable summary. This makes it useful for debugging, validating, or reverse-engineering USB peripherals. The depth of information depends on the device permission and which descriptors or status queries the hardware supports.
