About Xtra
Xtra is a third-party Android client for Twitch that combines live viewing with chat. It supports popular community emotes through extensions and can show chat alongside videos, including video-on-demand recordings and clips with chat replay. Users can download on-demand videos for offline viewing, continue playback in picture-in-picture mode, or set a sleep timer to stop a stream automatically. The interface offers three color themes and is focused on mobile viewing and chatting. The supplied description does not specify which account functions or stream qualities are supported, but it identifies live and recorded video, chat, emotes, downloads, picture-in-picture, and timed stopping as its main features. Xtra is an unofficial client for a third-party streaming platform. Its playback and chat features depend on that service and may vary by content or account status. The app is intended for users who want to follow streams and their chats in a mobile interface, including watching selected recordings offline.
