About سيجيمي
سيجيمي is a device-location tracking app that records GPS coordinates and sends them to a web server so the device’s location can be viewed. Its description also lists sending coordinates by SMS or through a messaging bot. Users can set up their own server, and settings can be managed through a website. The app includes controls for scheduling periods of activity and downtime, intended to reduce battery use when frequent location updates are unnecessary. It also offers an emergency timer. Together, these features suggest a basic location-reporting workflow: configure where updates go, choose how often the device should report, and use the web interface or supported message channel to view the coordinates. The product is explicitly described as experimental and not suitable for security purposes. That limitation is important for anyone considering location monitoring: the description presents it as a project for experimentation, not as a dependable safety or anti-theft system. The supplied information does not specify update accuracy, server requirements, or how location history is stored, so those capabilities should not be inferred.
