SOFTWARE OVERVIEW

AN2Linux

AN2Linux forwards Android notifications to a Linux desktop.

About AN2Linux

AN2Linux forwards Android notifications to a Linux desktop. The phone client communicates with a companion server running on the computer, and the notification data is protected using TLS during transfer. The connection can use Wi-Fi, mobile data, or Bluetooth, giving users several ways to link the phone and computer. The setup requires the AN2Linux server to be running on the desktop. Once connected, the app’s role is to synchronize phone notifications to that computer; the supplied information does not describe replying to notifications, transferring other phone data, or supporting desktop operating systems beyond Linux. AN2Linux is free and open-source software. Its focus is notification delivery from an Android device to a Linux machine, with an encrypted connection between the client and its required server component.
