About aFreeRDP
aFreeRDP is an Android client for connecting to remote computers that support the Remote Desktop Protocol. It lets a user access applications running on a remote system from a phone or tablet, bringing a desktop session to a mobile device. The app is based on the FreeRDP implementation and is described as working with operating systems that support Terminal Services or Remote Desktop Services. The remote machine must have those services available and be configured to accept a connection. aFreeRDP is intended for remote desktop access rather than local app execution. The supplied evidence does not specify display scaling, keyboard or touch controls, audio forwarding, connection security settings, or compatibility with every server configuration. Its documented role is to connect Android to a system exposing RDP and provide access to that system’s applications.
