About Bacon - Bluetooth Controller
Bacon is a customizable Bluetooth Low Energy controller for interacting with compatible BLE devices. Users can create multiple control layouts, change button icons and sizes, and configure commands for press and release events. Controls support multitouch, allowing more than one button to be used at a time. The app supports GATT characteristics: it can subscribe to readable or notifying characteristics and lets users select which writable characteristic receives commands. This makes it possible to build phone-based control panels for BLE modules and devices without hard-coding a single layout for each project. Bacon is intended for hobby electronics and other BLE hardware that exposes compatible characteristics. It has been tested with several BLE modules and is expected to work with many others, but support depends on the target device’s GATT configuration and command format.
