About BeamControl for Smart Interface
BeamControl for Smart Interface monitors production status from compatible industrial or manufacturing software. It can connect to many software instances and show the current production or build state for one machine or for a larger production line. When a state changes or an event requires a person to intervene, the app can notify the operator. The system is designed for software that exposes a compatible Smart Factory interface, including laser-marking and 3D-printing workflows. An operator can use it to keep track of multiple machines without checking each workstation separately. The same interface can be used by other software to integrate with automated production systems. BeamControl also serves as a demonstration of the Smart Factory interface, and its source is available for implementing compatible solutions. It does not itself control every machine or production process; it monitors information supplied by connected software and surfaces changes and requests for manual interaction. The app is useful in settings where multiple compatible production applications need to be monitored from one place. Its scope depends on the machines and software providing the supported interface, and the alerts depend on those systems reporting their state and events.
