ErmChat is a mobile client for reading and participating in Twitch chat. It supports multiple channels in swipeable tabs and allows multiple accounts, making it possible to follow several streams without repeatedly switching screens. Chat messages can include emotes from Twitch, BTTV, FFZ, and 7TV, with an emote caching system to make frequently used images easier to display. The app surfaces interactive stream features such as pinned messages, polls, predictions, and hype trains. Users can configure highlights and mention notifications to draw attention to messages that matter to them. Saveable threads keep related messages available for longer, and a moderation view provides many of the tools expected by channel moderators.
