About ESUP-NFC-TAG-DROID
ESUP-NFC-TAG-DROID is a client for institutions running an ESUP-NFC-TAG server. After choosing the institution’s server and authenticating, a user sees the badge-reading rooms available under their assigned rights and the server’s configuration. The user selects a room and can then scan supported multi-service cards using the phone or tablet’s NFC reader. The app requires Android 5 or later and NFC hardware. Its usefulness depends on an institution providing and configuring the corresponding server, so it is intended for members of organizations that use this system rather than as a general-purpose NFC reader. The mobile app supplies the authentication and card-scanning steps within the institution’s established badge workflow.
